At POLISPORT, the safety of its products has the highest priority. Their job is to market safe products in strict compliance with the general safety obligation they must meet as producers, under standard 2001/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of December 3, 2001 on general product safety.
The bike trailer/stroller complies with EN15918 and EN1888 standards. The product has been in circulation since 2020. Although it meets the above standards, in response to complaints received, Polisport subjected the product to additional normative testing. As a result, they found that the bolts connecting the rod to the frame (cockpit) could loosen if not tightened regularly.
It is therefore important that consumers immediately stop using the trailer and contact Polisport at warranty@polisport.com. Consumers will be sent a repair kit (an instructional video will be available on Polisport’s website), or consumers can return to the store where they purchased trailer to have the repair done by a professional. There is no charge.
